Nowadays there are lots of Supermarket race of who is the best on aspects like range of products, quality of both fresh and own-label products, store appearance, queuing time and value for money. One of the most important things is, how the supermarkets store the food? This question is important because as everybody know that there are different types of food and drinks get effective by the temperature of the place. For example, milk can sit out at room temperature for up to 4 hours, if it stayed for longer than 8 hours the bacteria can grow to dangerous level. So, it’s important to put the milk in fridges so it can stay for longer period. in this essay I will present:

Dairy: one of the most important products in the supermarket is dairy such as milk, cream, butter, cheese, etc. All these dairies need a different temperature to store. The milk is recommended Refrigerate at a temperature of between 0 °C and 4 °C. Also, its recommended take it before date and choose the product with the furthest date. Once opened, milk is safe for up to 3 days. Therefore, it is better to buy smaller amounts more often better than keeping it in refrigerator for too long. Also, Supermarkets keep milk stored away from strong-smelling food items in the fridge because the milk can pick up these smelling.
Cheese one of the dairies that the supermarket stores it carefully, they make sure that the cheeses wrapped well to avoid drying out. The cheeses should be far from foods with strong smelling, to avoid the effect of tastes and smells. plastic wrap and seal use to protect cheese from moisture, smelling.
Ice cream is made from milk, to store ice cream supermarkets keep it in freezer in a temperature of -11°F (-24°C). when ice cream transferred to a home freezer should be eaten within a month of purchase, otherwise the test will change.

Yoghurt is one of the dairies that kept in fridges not in freezer because the fridges keeps the smell and the test of the yoghurt. The yoghurt should be eaten in 3 days. it will keep in the freezer for up to 1 month, but the smell and the test will change.
Fruits: Fruits do slowly anti-oxidants, so they should be eaten at their peak of freshness. This is in general, when they are picked but some fruits continue do until ripen after being collected. Fruits are at room temperature, but after ripening, will rot faster. For more quality the supermarkets keep it in freezer until the fruits on the supermarket finish.
