The organizations and businesses that sponsor Cain’s Crossing Renaissance Faire with cash or in-kind sponsorships help ensure that the two-day, family-friendly educational faire and fundraising efforts are a success. All sponsors receive recognition in print materials, during announcements and on our website until the following year’s faire.
Cain’s Crossing, Inc. is a 501C3 non-profit corporation consists of an all-volunteer board and volunteer committees that produce the annual Cain’s Crossing Renaissance Faire. The faire provides educational opportunities and raises funds for students in the region, primarily those in the Placer and Nevada Counties. The organization’s purpose is to foster and encourage the study of history through research and re-creation to better understand and appreciate the people, technology and culture of the Renaissance, offering a first-hand glimpse into a day in the life.
Sponsor support for the annual community event ensures that the faire remains an affordable community event, that production expenses are defrayed, ensuring that funds will be available to donate to local education, and that the on-site educational programs can continue at little or no charge. For example, the passport program provides entry free of charge for middle school students who engage in an experiential learning program during the faire.
All funds donated to this event helps defray the cost of producing the faire and benefits the students.
